Taking this commitment to the next level, BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) is relaunching a limited period ‘AC Replacement Scheme’ in partnership with leading air conditioner manufacturers like Voltas, Godrej, LG, Blue Star and Lloyd. It shall enable the consumers, residing in South and West Delhi, to exchange their old working ACs with the new energy efficient 5-star rated ACs at a substantial discount of up to 63%* on MRP. | Ans | a. Any BRPL Domestic Consumers can opt for this scheme. b. To be eligible, consumer should have an AC in working condition installed in the same premises. c. | Ans | We have tied up with 5 Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM). 30+ brand-new energy efficient 5- star split, window and window inverter models are available. The five manufacturers are: a. | Ans | You can apply through following modes: A.Online Registration: You have to visit BRPL website https://www.bsesdelhi.com/web/brpl. B. You can register for the scheme by submitting the required documents at their Consumer Help Desk (CHD) divisional office. C. Contact BRPL Helpline 19123 / (011) 39999707. D.Consumers can also contact the list of authorized vendors (specified under the Q.11) to submit their request online.

| Ans | Standard Installation cost is free. Any additional requirements would be charged as per list.

a. Govt issued Proof of Identity (POI) of registered consumer. Additionally following forms are required:

| Ans | The Hon'ble commission has given approval for the scheme for duration of 36 months that is till 10/07/2026 and the number of AC available under the scheme is 5300 AC | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 8. | What is advantage of this scheme? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Ans | Consumers can replace their old, inefficient, power guzzling ACs with brand new 5 Star rated AC at up to 63%* discounted Price on MRP that too with added advantage of energy conservation. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 9. | When will vendor contacts me after submission of request? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Ans | Authorized vendor will contact the consumer in two days after their request has been approved by BRPL. Consumers can track the status of their application (Approved/Rejected/Pending) in the BRPL DSM Portal against the registration number, generated during the time of registration. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| 10. | What are the payment options? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Ans | Consumers have multiple options of payment. OEM Sales Executive will explain the cash, credit-debit card, online payments, UPI payments (if available) and some of the vendors provide EMI options (if available) and ACs shall be delivered and installed at consumer’s registered address after the payment. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
