List of Documents to be presented for New connection:

• Any one ID proof mentioned below: AADHAR, Electoral Identity Card ID, Passport, PAN Card, Ration Card with Photograph, Driving License or Photo Identity Card issued by any Govt. agency, If applicant is an Organization: (Certificate of incorporation / registration issued by the Registrar and proof of authorization / resolution of board for authorizing the person.)

• Any one Proof of Ownership or occupancy of premises mention below: Certified copy of title deed, Certified copy of registered conveyance deed, General Power of Attorney(GPA), Possession  / Allotment letter, Rent receipt not earlier than 3 months along with undertaking that the rent receipt has been signed by the owner or his authorized representative, valid Lease agreement along with undertaking that the lease agreement has been signed by the owner or his representative, Mutation certificate issued by a Government body such as Local Revenue Authorities or Municipal Corporation or land owning agencies like DDA /L&DO,Sub-division agreement. For bonafide consumers residing in JJ clusters or in other areas with no specific municipal address, the licensee may accept either ration card or electoral identity card mandatorily having the same address as a proof of occupancy of the premise

• Declaration form & application form for new connection is available at division Office also online. Click here  (New connection application form & Declaration form.) 

• Submit the form online along with required documents. In case the applicant is not able to submit application online , Applicant can approach Seva kendra/Connection Desk, available at all our Divisional Offices along with mandatory documents on appointment date and time. The charges payable by the applicant to BSES for New connection depends on the Tariff Category and sanctioned load:

• Advance Consumption Deposit/ Security Deposit depending on your Sanctioned load and tariff category, as specified in the table (Click here for the table).
• The normative SLD charges shall be payable by the applicant for taking new electricity connection at LT supply for the connections upto 200KW/215 kVA (Click here for the table).
